A bootable pendrive has no size restrictions and more importantly: you can create a BACKUP before updating the BIOS - and that's always a good idea! If you would like to show these hidden files, you have to enable the option: "Windows-Explorer / Tools / Folder options / View / Show hidden files and folders" and to disable the option "Hide protected operating system files". It will take me some time updating my skills to be able to mod aptio bioses and i have not too much spare time lastly.

I am thinking to take CPU microcodes from my AMI efi BIOS, then send it on AWARD BIOS and then check supported CPUs using CBROM tool. Hello Prema, You can use XTU v3.0 with your P170HM3(3d-enabled) laptop. Please note: You have to uninstall XTU 2.1 (if it is installed on your system) and reboot.
And then go to Device Manager and click Show Hidden Devices on View Menu.
