XQuery 3.0 is an extended version of the XQuery 1.0 Recommendation published on 23 January 2007.

This document has been reviewed by W3C Members, by software developers, and by other W3C groups and interested parties, and is endorsed by the Director as a W3C Recommendation.
This Recommendation of XQuery 3.0 represents the second version of a previous W3C Recommendation. Implementors are encouraged to run this test suite and report their results. Changes to this document since the Proposed Recommendation are detailed in J Change Log.
